Together we will deliver trainings at 23 sites in Native communities across the United States,” saidVeronica Hix, Marketing and Entrepreneurial Services Manager for ONABEN. “We will focus on areas that are important to business growth and development such as, marketing, government contracting and certification programs to name a few.”
According, to Mr. Kyle Smith, founder of RedWind, “Native American Entrepreneurs face unique challenges, but have a great potential to drive economic development in American Indian Communities and Native Villages.”
“This is a great way to create partnerships in your area and provide business development information to your local community,” said Hix. “We are interested in partnering with Native CDFIs, Tribal governments, Tribal Colleges, Indian Chambers, a number of organizations and programs to connect with Native Americans in business or those interested in pursuing small business.”
